Invent DeskLink Privacy Policy

Overview

The Invent DeskLink browser extension is developed to facilitate secure communication between your Invent ERP and Invent Medical account and native software components on your computer, such as ID card readers and imaging systems. The extension acts solely as a communication bridge and does not store, analyze, or share any personal data or device outputs.

1. Data Collection

  • The extension does not log or persist any information.

  • No information is transmitted to third-party services or remote servers outside your Invent ERP and Invent Medical account.

  • All data flows directly and temporarily between the native messaging host and your Invent ERP and Invent Medical account, with no interception, storage, or analysis by the extension itself.

2. Purpose of Data Transmission

Data transmitted through the extension is limited to:

  • Identity verification data from connected ID card readers.

  • Imaging or operational data from connected imaging systems.

  • Any relevant metadata needed for interoperability between native apps and your Invent ERP and Invent Medical account.

This data is handled only in transit, without modification or retention.

3. Permissions and Security

To function, the extension requests minimal permissions required to:

  • Communicate with a native messaging host installed on your computer.

  • Interface with your web application securely

All communications are done via secure browser APIs, and the extension undergoes regular security review to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

4. No Third-Party Access

The extension does not send or expose any data to third-party services. All communications are exclusively between the local native host and your Invent ERP and Invent Medical account.

By installing and using Invent DeskLink, you consent to its operation as a communication facilitator between your Invent ERP and Invent Medical account. and local native components. You can uninstall the extension at any time to revoke its functionality.
